Hehe, it’ll always be my favorite pic. Most of the gang of survivors and old friends of King Regis (well, referring to Cid and Cor) are there. I’ll list out the peeps in the pic:

    ** A few spoilers warning **

(TOP ROW): Dustin (one of Cor’s agents within the Crownsguard), Ignis/Iggy, Cid (one of King Regis’ former posse members and Cindy’s grandpa), Iris (Gladio’s younger sister), Cor (captain of the Crownsguard, also the instructor/trainer of Gladio, Iggy, and Prompto in Crownsguard, also one of King Regis’ old friends), Gladio, Monica (another one of Cor’s Crownsguard agents and a major cat lady (according to Noct and Prompto LOL))

(BOTTOM ROW): Prompto, Noct, Talcott (grandson of Gladio’s family butler. Iris adopted him after his grandfather was killed by those bastard Nifleheim soldiers)

The awesome thing about the characters here is that they aren’t your typical characters that you see in anime, but they’re the type of characters that you would meet and encounter in real life. Just simple, normal people with some quirks here and there.

I really think that people who complain didn’t enjoy the game all that much as they really didn’t take the time to enjoy it for what it is. It’s like when a student fails a class, they blame the professor even though it is the student’s fault for failing in the first place. I think there are those, like you, who enjoy the game and then others who don’t. I guess it equals out?

By the way, I think a fan site for the game would be a great idea. Since you discuss the adventures you’ve had playing this game. Why not?

As the saying goes, your adventure isn’t about the destination, but the journey itself. There was a series of sidequest (“Sylvester’s Map”) where you find a random piece of map and you read the clue written behind the map, and when you put the pieces together, there is an X that marks the spot. When I found that “X,” rather than some kind of reward for finding that “X,” we get a letter saying “Thank you for embarking on this long journey. The reward for you finding the “X” isn’t anything valuable, but the treasure of traveling through many places together with your friends and comrades.” (although after reading the letter, there was a hidden compartment in the box that contain 50,000 Gil LOL)

The biggest highlights for me with FFXV isn’t just the story or the quests or the way you battle your enemies, but it’s the journey itself. You would seriously feel that you are on an unending road trip with your best friends. The boys have become my best friends, so to speak. It’s like, you’re escaping your real world, and that when you’re over there on the road with the boys, you just feel completely free.

I already started building the fan site. Will talk to you more about it later. :)
