I do get some time for myself, but I don’t want to spend that “me” time just blogging, you know? There’s so many other things that I really want to do. :D

I’ll miss your activeness, but if you need a break you need a break. Very good advice there. I think its something a lot of people struggle with. I wish you luck till you return!

Hi Megan, thanks for stopping by! I have the WordPress app installed on my smartphone or Kindle, so at least in a way it would give me an alert that someone visited and commented LOL. Maybe I won’t be as active at blogging but I will be (semi-)active with replying to comments. <3

Sounds like you will be and have been busy. When school starts, I’ll be blogging less, but I promise to keep doing it for it’s my outlet. Needing a break is a good thing! Good luck with everything!

    You will be missed! <3

Good luck to you with school too Michelle. :) Just do what you always do and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. More importantly, take it easy also. ^^

Yike! You have a lot on your plate! In a way, it’s good to keep busy, but just don’t overdo it! Though I know sometimes it’s hard not to overdo things. I tell myself that, and I still overdo it and stress myself out ~_~; That’s not fun, honestly. I have to remind myself to take one thing at a time!

I’m with you on that it’s good that the Olympics only last two weeks LOL. What part of the Olympics do you like to focus on? For me, it’s gymnastics, mostly, but I’m more of a fan of the Winter Olympics for the figure skating. I’ve been enjoying what I’ve read and watch about this Olympics so far. :)

Also, regarding your whole spiel about online and offline priorities — I couldn’t agree more. I blog and comment because I want to, but sometimes RL likes to take over and then I have to set aside my online tasks for a bit. Sure, I try to make time for my hobbies, and I’m generally good about it, but some days, that’s just not the case. I may fall behind on commenting, but I just play catch up when I can, and I won’t stress over it. Sometimes I just don’t have the time (or the energy, honestly) to reply to every single email or messages right away. Also, people like me hate typing on a smartphone! So I generally tend to respond when I’m at a computer . . . some people just need to understand that we’re not obligated to be at anyone’s beck and call!

Well, that’s life for you. A lot of kids think that being an adult is easy, but really, we’d be living in a utopia if life really is that easy LOL. Nope, adulthood is all about responsibilities and survival in life. :D

My family and I are huge sports fans, so I watch a lot of sports in the Olympics in addition to gymnastics (swimming, volleyball (both indoor and beach), some track & field events, and if I get lucky (because most of the time I have to stay past midnight just to watch these), watching judo or taekwondo hehe. There’s others in mind but can’t list them right now ^^). For winter olympics, it’s figure skating, skiing events, snowboarding events, can’t remember the others lol.

During Amazon’s Prime Day, I bought a portable universal keyboard for the iPad and other tablets for $3 and it works really well on my Kindle, so that should tell you how much I really hate typing on a touchscreen. Even though I love my Android phone now, I still miss my very old Blackberry and its little keyboard (even if the buttons could hurt the fingers). I could just bring along my Kindle and the keyboard wherever I go, but the problem is I’m not always at a place where there’s free wifi LOL. I also have other hobbies too and hobbies to hone in (such as watercolor painting and manga-style drawing LOL), along with catching up with my Ruby class (and I’m really behind now because of these past few days lately >.<). Oh bleh, darn real life LOL.

Be strong, I’m sure you too will get to take a vacation soon. :)

I hope so, but then, I don’t get paid vacations (if I have to take a vacation, it’d be w/o pay :( ). That’s why I’m really working hard w/ studies and getting myself job-ready so I can finally enter my dream field. Then I can finally take vacations. :D

I’m glad you wrote this post, Adri. Thank you for writing it.

Seems like you’re going to be busy! I think we all tend to get busy from time to time and just need to breathe every once in awhile. Ya know? Same with blogging, we can’t force ourselves to make others happy because they want to sit on our domains/blogs to read what we have done for that day, month, or year. Ya know? Anyways, I hope your busy life-style won’t take over too much. You need a break once in awhile! It was nice catching up with you on Facebook :).

Yup. Still busy, I’m already behind Ruby on Rails class because I’m concentrated on my brother’s wedding site, so yeah. ^^

Oh, and for those who are wondering, it’s a WordPress-powered site. :P
