Wow. That is one major long entry and a mouthful to boot. However, the game sounds pretty amazing from what you have explained in your entry as well as to me on Facebook. The only Final Fantasy game I have played was I think 7? I know, I am behind the times. Haha. Don’t hate me for saying this, but I am not much of a role player as much as I used to be when I was younger. I’m more Zelda and Super Mario Bros type than Final Fantasy. But the plot and the images seems pretty interesting to say the least.

Actually, this Final Fantasy is no longer turn-based. The battle system is live action with no screen changes. When you see enemies, you are immediately engaged into battle (kind of like Zelda, where you run, jump, do other actions, and fight in real time). When you win the battle, you just move on LOL.

I think XV would be my 11th or 12th FF, as I’ve played way too many (including the first one in the old NES console). And this game is very engaging, you’ve got so many sidequests and bounty hunts and other activities that you can gain experience points on (reason why I share so many screenshots on my Facebook is because of the experience points LOL). There are 14 (?) chapters in the main story, and I read that you need to be at least lvl 45 to fight the final boss (I’m currently at lvl 42 and stuck at ch. 8 LOL). By the time I meet the final boss, I’d probably like lvl 60 or something LOL.

But, when you do get a chance, I highly recommend it, probably because of the funny/witty dialogue that the four guys have with each other.

I need to edit the entry again. I just learned that both Noct and Prompto are 20-yrs-old, meaning all four are adults.

It’s probably one Final Fantasy game that you would never get bored of because you’ve got so many things (sidequests, bounty hunts for money, taking photos, cooking/learning recipes, fishing, just having long distance road trips) that you can do while you’re “prolonging” the main story LOL. I read that even after you finish the main story, you still got more stuff to do, like more quests, more dungeons, more activities, etc. LOL

I know they ported Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (though I never finished it. I’ll play again another time) on Steam, not sure if they will do the same with FFXV, mainly because Square Enix has got plenty of DLCs planned for this game in the long run. For instance, making the game as an online multiplayer so you can play with your other friends with PS4s and loads of other good stuff. ^^

I don’t know if you have Facebook, but if you do, add me as a friend, because one of the things I need to do in order to gain EXP points is to take pictures and share them on social media LOL. XD I’ve got PLENTY of shots/screenshots of the game enough for me to make a FFXV shrine/fansite of some sort LOL.

Yup, you should! It’s so easy to level up/gain experience points now and it’s so easy to steer away from the main story quests too LOL. It’s like, you’ll never run out of things to do in that game, and it’s not just fighting monsters and bosses too. You do other things like finding recipes, fishing, taking pictures, rescuing hunters and travelers whose cars broke down, raising Chocobos, and just having long distance trips with your car LOL.

I share the PS4 with my brother too, but he’s been out of the house way too much because of work and other things, so he wanted me to take advantage of the PS4 when he’s not home LOL. You’ll love the guys too. You see them (including Prince Noct) a whole lot more as dudes you wanna chill with rather than seeing them as royalty, if you will. Though I’m sorta leaning to Noct because you can seriously relate to the way he views things towards the world (his friends are already noticing him acting more like a commoner dude than royalty, plus he loves video games LOL), I love all four of them. ^_^
