So Feb 14 is important to you, huh… Hehe. I remember three years ago when I gave a homemade heartshape chocolate to someone I like. He never knew I gave it.

Oh, I’d like to tell you that I’m really into Kame/Kamenashi Kazuya :insomnia: (KAT-TUN) now! He’s a really good actor and singer. So funny. But I’m still a Nino fan. <3

Sashiburi(? is this right?) It's been a long while since we've chatted.

It’s hisashiburi. :P And yes, it’s been awhile since we chatted. Been very busy lately. ^^

I’m not very fond of KAT-TUN in general, not even from the beginning. I don’t know, it’s something in them that turns me off. I remember that whenever I see or hear that group name in general I started seeing their rather “provocative” dance performances (especially Jin and Kame)… and I mean… provocative.

I haven’t been watching that many dramas as of late, so I’m kinda falling behind.

But yeah, 2/14 is a pretty significant day for me, and no, it’s not because of Valentine’s Day. I had bad memories with the Valentine’s Day bit. Speaking of chocolates, when I was in middle school and high school I used to make homemade chocolate with the help of my aunt and sometimes we’d sell them for the school clubs I joined to raise money for our events. Lately then there were girls who’d ask me if I can make chocolates for them to give to the guys they really like (and what pissed me off was that they took credit for it :veryangry:, then again those girls never succeeded, so HA!) on Valentine’s Day. I still make some whenever I feel like it but nowadays, I let my sisters do all the baking.

    Waa… you make homemade chocolates….

Well actually at first I didn’t like Kat-tun, and even now although they have some good songs I can’t get into them like I do in Arashi. Arashi is quite different, ne? And Jin, I’m concerned about him being flooded with issues, but I don’t like Jin much. And Kame… I don’t like some things that he does but since I really like his acting and singing and he as a person I’d stick to being a Kame fan. But of course, I wouldn’t like it if he does things that Jin does. Well, if I were his manager I’d really take care of him and his acts. >_< I don't like seeing my favorite JE boys getting caught up in bad behaviors/scandals/issues. Maybe that's why I like Nino so much. He seems really clean from those. And Arashi as a group.

Happy Valentines Day to you! :insomnia:

Hisashiburi ne! (yey! finally used a correct word!)

    BTW, like your emoticons! Kawaii!

You should try my “spicy” chocolate one day. It’s just dark chocolate with a hint of cayenne pepper powder LOL. I actually drink spiced hot chocolate sometimes. It’s really good. <3

I’m just going to say this straight out to you. There is no such thing as a “scandal-free” celebrity in Japan. Kame has gone in to a lot of them as much as Jin and some of the members of KAT-TUN. ARASHI also has their share of these tabloid reports as well (and I’m talking about all of ARASHI, including Nino) in the past and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re going to get more sometime in the future, so don’t assume that ARASHI is “perfect” regarding the notorious media compared to the rest of the JE groups (or any J-pop group for the matter), because they’re not.

On the other hand, as long as these celebs have true fans who believe in them and still accept them for being imperfect, these celebs will still go on strong with their careers. Japanese entertainment higher-ups aren’t very forgiving with the “notorious” celebs and the media is very good at tearing them apart within the public. Unfortunately, many of the so-called “biggest, obsessive” fans aren’t exactly the smartest people in the planet.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you too. The emoticons are plug-ins from someone’s blog who are offering them for free. Too bad wordpress.com doesn’t give you complete leeway to customize your blog features. O_o

And yes, I’d still be a fan even with those issues. It’s what they do, their work, and how they deal with the issues that matters, right?

There’s nothing wrong with that, none at all. ^_^ As for me though, if those similar scandals and such involving the same idol occurring constantly and frequently, that’s also an indicator that this idol may not even care about his/her works that he should be having a passion on or what people (people as in his family, friends, managers, agency staff, etc., not just the fans) think or worry about him/her, then that’s when that person becomes a total turn-off for me.

I don’t become a fan to a particular idol just because he’s cute or hot or that he’s awesome and talented with what he does. Those are just small factors for me. I become a fan of that idol because not only that he’s being good at his talents and works, but that he also has passion for them (no matter how good or how bad they may be according to critics). That means that person knows he should prioritize his work over pretty much everything else when applied (meaning no slacking off, no reckless partying, none of that). Sometimes the level of their talent and works can really determine on the level of their passion. They’re good at their works and their acting because they love what they do, not just so they can look good and please their fans who dictate to them what they “should” be according to them.

I’ve learned a lot by being friends with some people who are related to some idols, and contemplating about them, I learn to actually understand them.

Speaking of my job, I just got a job interview w/ another company for a full-time permanent job, since there aren’t any full-time permanent jobs available at Levi’s. I would really love to stay at Levi’s permanently, but I’m also desperate for funds to keep up with my financial issues. Currently starting to do more job hunting again.
