I bought myself a Kindle for Christmas and I swear it’s one of the best things I’ve bought myself. I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it but it’s great for trying out different kinds of books I wouldn’t normally read – same as with the library but an even bigger selection. I commute so it’s great! :)

I’ve always thought that my Android phone was more than enough for me to use as a reader using the Kindle app considering its screen size, but then I realized that there are some books I downloaded that isn’t “responsive” enough for me to zoom in and zoom out. I’ve always been an old-fashioned reader, with the physical copies of a book for novels in my hand, but eventually I found some joy in using my Kindle as well. I still like to hang out at the library, but you’re right though.

Kindle’s library has a bigger selection (well, if you’re subscribed to Kindle Unlimited for Prime members, now it would feel like a library LOL).

It’s cool that some of the old members did remember you. It can be strange how sometimes playing with a different character can make you play a different way, I guess it’s like creating a new identity and maybe taking more risks? :D

That is a pain that Elegant Themes are not really up to date with current design lingo. At least you do have a good alternative and hopefully things will work out. :D

It’s really great that you are enjoying your Kindle! I really love to use my iPad. It is so easy to read with, and can be used for so many things. :D It would be cool to have a stylus to use. :D

Elegant Themes has so many beautiful themes that I would love to use, but at the same time it’s really sad that they’re putting more priorities on their Divi framework and everything else related. I think they should take the time to update all the core files of their existing themes and add the Divi builder in there. Also, I’m sad that many of their older but still beautiful themes are not responsive. It’s like they abandoned them just to focus on the latest. It’s not with Themify themes, where they did exactly just that to their older themes.

Also, it’s Lent season, and I may give up video games again for this year’s season. I need to do a lot of more important/practical stuff that I really need done anyway and sadly, I picked the wrong time to get in to Blade & Soul LOL.

Kindle is really awesome. I’m still upset that the Amazon app store has so many limited apps and we can’t even go to Google Play to install apps that don’t exist at the Amazon app store. It’s stupid IMO when Kindle is Android-based, you know?

I love your Kindle case! :D I have the Kindle app on my tablet which has been great for storing books when I travel.

I’ve been looking at Themify and Divi lately. I’d love to tinker with them, although I haven’t found a good reason to purchase. I’m glad Themify is working out well for you! :D

Let’s just say, my brother knows me very well. :D (regarding that adorable Kindle case. It has a stand too, so it’s perfect for me to watch my class lecture videos while doing the coding stuff on the laptop hehe) He didn’t just give me the Kindle itself, but he got me the case and the screen protector too. He knows I hate oily fingers on the screen.

If I do finally master the basics of WP theme building, I may even apply for a job at Elegant Themes as one of their theme developers/designers. Their main headquarters is in San Francisco, which is some 20 miles (and a $5 bridge fee) from me. I’ll just take the train to get there LOL. I do prefer going freelancing though and have my own home business, but I’m nervous when it comes to dealing with… “unreliable” and diva-esque clients. :/
