Ah, Finkl. I loved Blue Rain from them, but I never really paid attention to them as much as I did with the boy group, haha! I’d no idea that two of them became actresses. I knew Hyori became very popular afterward. In fact, Hyori was my favourite Finkl member back then!

What I liked about Hyori though is that she’s real, I dunno if that’s the right word. Like she’s the type who’s “in your face” direct to the point. There was one YouTube video of her guesting in a talk show (subbed in English) and she mentioned something about how she feels that it’s the celebrities’ fault (herself included) that so many common people are getting into the whole plastic surgery trend. I wouldn’t say that though, but I did remember back in the last decade when it was trendy for many young Korean girls to look and dress like Hyori. It’s not Hyori’s fault that she’s naturally beautiful LOL. ^^

I know I don’t really listen to K-Pop today anymore, but sometimes I’d sneak in to read about K-Pop groups of the past. Lee Jin recently got married last February, and it was only Joohyun who was able to attend her wedding (because it’s in Hawaii, the other members are already booked with their own solo projects). I only learned about Yuri and Jin being pouplar among K-Pop fans because they love watching K-dramas too, but sadly a lot of them are surprised that those two were part of the K-Pop scene long before they were even born LOL.

The first time I got into Fin K.L. though, I had a feeling that Joohyun would eventually become some powerhouse diva when she gets older and if she stays in the industry. Now she’s one of the most sought after stage actress/singer to star on (almost) every Korean version of Broadway musicals, and that’s a very huge accomplishment. She’s legit. ^^
