Hi Adi! Im glad your new schedule was approved.Family quality time should be the priority nowadays. Time is too short. It seems like you and your family have strong bond despite of the busy schedule. I’m happy to hear you are finding your way to improve yourself. Keep it up!

Well, I;m thinking about improving my skills because I lack it in so many ways. Also Im thinking about my upcoming birthday I dont know how to celebrate it lol

My birthday is next month, but I wasn’t even thinking about that LOL.

In a way, it saddens me whenever I see other people talking smack about their parents on social media (and even on their blogs too…) and that everybody whose friends with that person could see it. I mean, not all of us are “perfect humans,” but sometimes I feel that others are taking things for granted when it comes to their parents. When I am angry at anyone of my parents, I don’t talk about it in public, because I know, that’s something minor and that I’d eventually get over it. Some people may think I’m being a hypocrite, but you know, regardless of anger, respect should always be the priority.

And speaking of quality time, I can finally come back to church choir, because now I have Sundays off. :D

Aww Adri, Thank you for stopping by and taking time to comment. It surely has been some while since we’ve mailed. To what you’ve replied to on my post, I agree with you, but I tried to not make it seem too demanding or too harsh towards certain people who might read it. I also did not want it to turn into that much of and rant. We have to keep in mind that these people also have a certain mental illness and I do not wish to get attacked just because the post seemed like I was attacking them, if you know what I mean!? Anyways I was really glad you stopped by and took some time to comment. Then Hmm let’s get to your post, shall we? I think it’s good that you took your time to think about family and friends, your health and your happiness. These are all important things that keep popping up on my mind alot as well and that in my opinion a lot of people keep pushing aside. Although I have to admit that I rarely think about my health or my happiness, which is definitely a bad habbit I still need to get rid off. I’m happy for you that you got your new schedule approved and that you can spend some more time with your loved ones now. I spend a lot of my time with my family, even if it’s just thins like watching a movie with them. Spending time with my family is very very important to me and I hear a lot how people are envying me for actually getting that time. Then again it makes me sad whenever people talk bad about their parents and make them seem like the devil in disguise just because they dont allow you a certain thing or expect you do something like chores. I even help my parents with cooking sometimes, so I do not get why people would complain at all. Every person should try to be understanding and respectful just like you aid under my post. I hope you get to have a lot more quality time with your friends and family~ also stay healthy and don’t let certain things stress you too much.

Hi Lien, sorry for the super-late response. My WordPress new comment notifications isn’t working very well, and I just happened to see yours just now. :(

Regarding some people with some mental illness or something, with proper guidance, procedures, and (if necessary) medications, they can control their actions. What sickens me is that they use their illness as an excuse to the unruly behavior they displayed and then act like it’s okay for them to act on behaviors that are offensive to many. I have two nephews who are autistic, and with proper care and guidance, even though they may show their “quirks,” at least they are able to control them and even refuse to let their disorders (?) control them. So, if they are able to go through it, so can anyone else.

Especially for this period of time for me and my family, this is what I want to focus on, which is why I had that schedule change. A few of my co-workers and my manager know about it already, and they all gave me words of encouragement to keep my head up, look forward, and smile while living in the present. With my brother’s wedding coming up in December, I’m sure we’ll be making a lot of fun memories.

Even with the simplest things, I always have this in mind: It’s wonderful to be alive.

Sometimes is good to take some time to think and reflect on everything. Best wishes! :D I hope things are sorted out with the health concerns.

All I can hope now is that it’s not that serious of a condition, even though the name makes it already serious. Dunno if that would make any sense. We’ll learn how the treatment will be when Dad goes on another appointment next week.

Now I’m searching around for any a la carte Hawaiian BBQ. XD

My dad is one of the most active people I know. It’s still shocking that something so deadly can attack someone who seems to be invincible at everything. Well, that’s how I see him as. ;) Thank you for your kind words. :)

There seems to be a LOT of things going on in our lives that we fail to realize we need to be happy and think about some things like you’ve mentioned.

I’m sorry to hear about your father’s condition, and I hope that he will be okay. From what you’ve told me about him, sounds as though he is a strong will person.

Like you, I’m thinking about my family – more my dad than anyone. Honestly, I haven’t seen him in about 2 years due to certain things that keeps us from getting together and what not. However, I’m hoping that with some money coming in soon and hope that I can see him. I need too.

Anyways, I’m glad your new work hours were approved.

It may be something small, but it still is a blessing to me. There are still a lot of people out there who whine and moan about the things they don’t have and then end up neglecting about the things they do have. Every day, we always have our ups and downs, but sometimes, some of the “downs” happen in order for the “ups” to come the next day or in the next coming days.

Hopefully, you’ll be able to come and visit your dad again. There are some people who have grudges against their fathers for deeper reasons, but it’s painful for me when someone bashes about their dads just out of selfishness. And then, there are others who are unfortunate to born never even meeting their dads. So, father or no father, we can’t neglect who and what we have now and just appreciate every single day.

      Here’s to families! :)

I wish I could think more but with all the psych meds I take(6) my thoughts stop because of the fact my brain is sick and I literally overthink. Stay strong!

There are others who can’t think of more than one thing in their minds, and that’s normal. Overthinking is never good. :) Even just thinking about one single thing is more than enough.

I also take 6 meds myself for my diabetes. 2 of them are actually supplemental/dietary pills.

We’re a family of strong(-willed) people, even though on the outside, we may not look like it. There are other stories I’ve experienced that gave me different outlooks from the “down sides,” so I think we’ll all be fine. :)
